Skycaptin5 IRL Streams

In Real Life Livestreaming

Skycaptin5 has ventured into the world of IRL Streams or well livestreaming in real life. That’s an activity where you take your phone and instantly showcase what you’re doing to the audience. It allows authentic quick and direct interactions.

While initially used for various walks and light activities the hope is continue doing IRL Streams in Calgary and the surrounding area to showcase a variety of events taking place throughout the year. If you’d like your event showcased and IRL streamed please reach out jasonstettner @ gmail.com to pitch.

Sponsored IRL Streams

If you’d like to have a sponsored IRL Stream done to showcase an event please do reach out to book. Even if you’re looking just for some level of cooperation in advertising a business or helping to showcase an event to an audience on Youtube the IRL streams can be modified to assist with that endeavor.

Below is an example of a discussion about the PS5 Pro console while enjoying a beverage at The Mash in Chestermere. Not a sponsored stream, but an idea for how to possibly showcase enjoyment at a business or presentation of say food and or atmosphere. It’s also rather funny, due to the random unplanned aspect of a bug being present. The audience loves that sort of thing.

Destination IRL Streams

Maybe you’re looking at having a city or area toured, that can also be arranged. An example here for when Skycaptin5 was visiting Toronto and showcasing some of the stops while being there on business working on video footage for another event. These streams are versatile, quick and can be setup at any point anywhere.

Event IRL Streams

Skycaptin5 is particularly interested in working with various event organizers around the city for festivals or large scale gatherings to help provide new activities to his audience, himself and to help promote happenings within the city to those that are interested. It’s a great way to build awareness and an example to showcase a natural interaction with your event or activity.

Below is an ongoing partnership with Screamfest that continued with this stream that showcased how the event functioned, some of the creepy houses and the atmosphere. There were no limits or guidance and it easily gave a realistic showcase, in a timely manner of what someone curious about the event may experience if they were to go. A great time for those watching live, and an excellent presentation for those curious about the event going forward.

You not only have the aspect of the project being live, but you also get post viewings from those searching for information about any particular events to see what they’re like. It’s a great way to provide long lasting advertising for an event and to easily give potential event goers a taste of the action through the perspective of a regular person that may be attending.

That’s really valued in modern content engagement. People want to know what it might feel like to go somewhere prior to deciding on committing and going themselves. Note: the Calgary Stampede stream below was using an old phone during initial IRL Stream tests, but gives an idea of showcasing the atmosphere.
